Elizabeth Ying, MA CCC-SLP

She is a speech-language pathologist with over a 40-year career of providing aural habilitation and rehabilitation services to children and adults with varying degrees of hearing loss.
Early in her career, Ms. Ying was a member of CHC’s clinical staff where she beganher pioneering work in auditory-based oral speech and language therapy for recipients of cochlear implants. She later served as clinical supervisor of the DeVault Otologic Research Laboratory at Indiana School of Medicine, gathering data for NIH-funded research investigations of the benefits of cochlear implantation within the pediatric population. Prior to that, Ms. Ying has been pursuing her clinical and research interests as Director of Hearing Habilitation at the Ear Institute at New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai Health Systems. Her pioneering clinical and research work in the development of functional listening and speech and language skills for recipients of cochlear implants has been recognized in numerous national/ international presentations and peer-reviewed publications.
