Lisa S. Goldin has over 15 years of experience as a. Her work includes assessing pediatric and adult patients for cochlear implant eligibility and programming devices of recipients following implantation. She practices at the and began her career at the Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital, where, through her work with cochlear implant pioneer Dr. Simon Parisier, she became involved in The Children’s Hearing Institute.
Ms. Goldin is a member of the Med El Audiology Advisory Board, a group of clinicians selected to provide device advancement and refinement advice to one of the three major cochlear implant manufacturers.Ms. Goldin is pursuing a Ph.D. in Speech, Language and Hearing at the Graduate Center of the City University of New York. Her doctoral research involves using central auditory evoked potentials to enhance understanding of speech perception abilities in infants. Ms. Goldin holds a M. Phil. in Speech, Language and Hearing Science from the Graduate Center of the City University of New York, a M.S. in Audiology from Hunter College of the City University of New York and a B.A. in Speech and Hearing Science from the State University of New York at Buffalo, as well as a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from the American Speech Hearing Assocation (ASHA).
Ms. Goldin resides in New York City with her husband and two children.
