Stephanie Levine, AuD has been an educational audiologist at the New York City Department of Education for the past 20 years. She is the coordinator of professional development programs for the NYCDOE. She received her doctorate degree from ATSU, and master’s from the University at Buffalo. Stephanie Levine is an adjunct assistant professor at Teacher’s college, Columbia University where she teaches two Audiology courses to graduate students. She currently lives in Cranford, N.J.

Sydney Abernathy, MS, CCC/A is the educational audiologist at Summit Speech School in New Providence NJ. She has a master’s degree in audiology from The University of Southern Mississippi. She previously worked as an educational audiologist for 10 years in Anchorage AK before moving to New Jersey. She has over 16 years of experience in audiology with 12 years specifically in educational audiology.

Deborah Bernstein, M.A. has worked for the New York Department of Education in Manhattan for 19 years. While earning her MA degree at Teacher’s College in Deaf Education, Deborah worked at Lexington School for the Deaf in Queens. She was a classroom teacher at Murry Bergtraum High School for 8 years and is currently a Related Service Provider working with Deaf and Hard of Hearing students in Manhattan. Hard of Hearing herself, Deborah’s goal is to empower kids to be their own best advocates (something that took her a long time to achieve). She lives in Brooklyn, NY.
